Jonathan Ukodhiko Celebrates Chief James Ibori on His 67th Birthday
The Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has joined millions of Deltans, political leaders, religious figures, and well-wishers across the globe to celebrate former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, on the occasion of his 67th birth anniversary.
In a heartfelt goodwill message, Hon. Ukodhiko described Chief Ibori as a quintessential leader whose tenure as Governor of Delta State from 1999 to 2007 left an indelible imprint on the socio-economic landscape of the state.
According to the lawmaker, “Undeniably, your tenure as Governor of Delta State from 1999 to 2007 left an indelible mark on our state’s development, and your contributions towards the development of the Niger Delta region are still widely acknowledged and appreciated.”
Ukodhiko further noted that Chief Ibori’s visionary leadership continues to serve as an enduring source of inspiration to many across Delta State and Nigeria at large.
“To date, your leadership and vision keep inspiring many, and I am sure your legacy will continue to shape the future of our state and nation,” he added.
On behalf of the hospitable people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Ukodhiko extended his warmest felicitations and best wishes to the former governor, praying for divine protection and long life for the political icon.
“Please accept my best wishes as we sincerely pray that the good Lord continues to protect and favour you with earthly longevity to enable us to continue to draw from your fountain of political wisdom,” the statement concluded.
Chief James Ibori, widely regarded as one of the founding architects of modern Delta State, remains a revered figure in the political evolution of the Niger Delta and Nigeria.
